What is Alexander Technique?
The Alexander Technique has been used for over 100 years to help people live happier, healthier and more productive lives. By studying the principles, tools and processes that make up the Alexander Technique students learn how to stop unnecessary and unhelpful ways of thinking and moving that are interfering with their wellbeing.
Lessons can be taken privately or in groups. In every lesson students learn how to apply the work to practical everyday activities. The teacher uses a combination of discussion and hands-on guidance.
As the Alexander Technique can help with a wide variety of issues and concerns, the best way to find out if the work can help you is to book an introductory lesson. Introductory lessons include a lecture outlining the most important principles in the work and an initial practical lesson so you can experience the work for yourself. Small group introductions are offered periodically at the clinic and you can also book a private introductory lesson any time.
