Emily Gale BA DHP HPD GQHP GHR, 2008
Emily is a fully qualified and insured Clinical Hypnotherapist. She trained at the Clifton Practice in Bristol, where she achieved the Diploma of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner’s Diploma. She has since been awarded the General Qualification of Hypnotherapy Practice by the General Hypnotherapy Register, of which she is a member.
Her first experience with hypnotherapy was when studying ancient history and archaeology at university. She went to a hypnotherapist for help with exam nerves and was very interested in the approach and techniques used, and impressed with the results. After graduating with her first degree, Emily worked for several years as a geophysical surveyor. During this time, she read about the hypnotherapy training course at the Clifton Practice, Bristol, and convinced this would be rewarding and fulfilling work, she enrolled on the course. Graduating in 2008 as a qualified hypnotherapist, Emily joined the Yew Tree Clinic team in 2009.
In her spare time, Emily studies with the Open University and maintains an interest in history, science, psychology and nature. She also enjoys reading fiction, cooking and exploring the countryside, and is a valued member of our team.
